Inventor, Allen Coggins, has donated his Thermasi heating system and its installation to the Arnold Food Pantry to heat/cool our outbuilding.
The food pantry can now expect to save money on their energy bills as the heating systems
utilize one-third the amount of energy as a conventional furnace. What's more, they are designed with retrofitting in mind to take the place of an existing gas or electric furnace. This results in significant savings, greater efficiency, reduction in pollution and consistent comfort.

Volunteer Exceeds Giving
Pat Bourgeois has been volunteering at Arnold Food Pantry for quite some time. Her husband, Tom, then became a volunteer. Both of them work hard, like all of our volunteers, to make the pantry the best it can be in providing the most the Pantry is able to those in crisis.
Tom recently became a pantry board member. In additon to that, he has donated time and equipment to provide needed remodeling in the food service area. Tom has generously donated grocery store shelving, stainless steel tables, cabinetry and paint. He did all the painting himself and he and other volunteers installed shelving and cabinets.
The area went from an eclectic mix of wood shelves, old desks used as sorting 'tables', a mixture of aging wire shelves and off white walls to standard grocery store shelves, gorgeous new storage cabinets, stainless steel tables throughout, and bright yellow and green paint.
Their generousity is gratefully appreciated and has helped the pantry improve organization and storage of food and household necessities as well as brighten the area for clients and volunteers alike.
